GSV Publication Cell is committed to publish research on real-life industry/ sector issues in the domain of Transportation and Logistics including all the modes of transportation - Rail, Road, Aviation, Water, and Ports and Shipping with a focus on all three dimensions – Technology (Infrastructure), Management (Services) and Policy (Regulations).

GSV Publication Cell encourages faculty at GSV to publish books in the domain of transportation and logistics. GSV faculty may collaborate with the experts in the domain of transportation and logistics sector.

It is expected that book includes cases, insights from industry practitioners and unique development in the domain of Transportation and Logistics.

How to publish a book with GSV Publication Cell (under the Copyright of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya)?

GSV Publication cell accepts the book proposals in the niche area of Transportation and Logistics covering all three dimensions - Technology (Infrastructure), Management (Services) and Policy (Regulations).

• Step 1: Submit Book Proposal Form to GSV Publication Cell - gsvpublicationcell@gsv.ac.in
• Step 2: Editor-in-Chief will review the unique value propositions of the book for transportation and logistics sector and intimate the authors about the decision.
• Step 3:On acceptance of the book proposal, authors will submit the entire book in MS Word file as per the format given below to GSV Publication Cell - gsvpublicationcell@gsv.ac.in

  • Line Spacing: Single
  • Font Size: 12 for all text & 14 for title
  • Font Type: Times New Roman
  • References: APA Style – https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/references/examples
  • Structure of Book: Title Page, Preface, Acknowledgement, About the Authors, Table of Contents, Main Body (All Chapters/ Sections), References/ Bibliography
• Step 4: Editor-in-Chief sends the book manuscript to the reviewer for single-blind review.
• Step 5: Reviewer share the feedback with Editor-in-Chief.
• Step 6: The Editor-in-Chief communicates the decision to the corresponding author.
• Step 7: Authors revise the book manuscript according to reviewer comments and resubmit within the deadline.
• Step 8: On final acceptance from Editor-in-Chief, authors submit a Copyright Transfer Agreement to the GSV Publication Cell, authorizing GSV to publish their work under the copyright of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya.
• Step 9: The GSV Publication Cell will publish the book with necessary editing, cover page and ISBN number.
